K. Assembling the Top Case (Cover) , Finishing Touches, Testing the Power Supply
After all the components were soldered to their respective locations, the final step was to enclose everything with the casing.
So, we drilled holes at the casing for the switch, fuse, selector switch and for the rest of the other parts of the power supply. Then we had to locate their proper places and put them in there. Some relevant parts, including the switch, the fuse, the output of the power supply, along with the selector switch, needed to be soldered, so we did anyway.
Afterwards, we secured the other case on top of the other so as to serve as the power supply’s cover. Then, we screwed the cover case tight – using a screwdriver of course.
And yeay, we’re DONE!!
Oww, wait, we’re still not done.. Will the power supply work? Uurrrghh…..
So, in order for us to check whether the power supply was functioning and good enough, we tested it with a multi-tester. We tested it using the AC meter. Fortunately, everything was okay.
And yeay, we’re DONE!!
